Pacamara coffee is a rare and highly sought-after variety of coffee bean. It is a hybrid between Pacas and Maragogype, first developed in El Salvador in the 1950s. Its beans are known for their large size and unique flavor profile, which is said to be second only to Gesha.
This Pacamara is from the original country of El Salvador. The coffee farms are located in the beautiful valley of Apaneca, at altitudes ranging from 1200 to 1700m. Five generations of the family have endeavored to cultivate boutique varieties of coffee on the farms, and they have been producing excellent Pacamara coffee for more than 30 years. The precious soil under the shade trees and the rainfall mostly captured there contribute to good conditions for cultivating Pacamara coffee. All of these factors result in a unique flavor for the Pacamara, which is more dense with a full body and chocolatey undertones.
